Hello my name is Kathy Earwood. I am the Director of the Undergraduate Advising Center in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. I have been at Kennesaw since October 2013. Before I came to KSU, I worked at Georgia Tech for 25 years. I have been in the advising arena for 20 plus years. I love working with all majors and all students. It is a great feeling knowing that I have a job that I truly love and want to get up and come to every day. The students make a difference and I want to see all students succeed. My specialty is working with the “At Risk” population and getting them back on track from the minor bumps in the road they seem to have taken. I received my B.S. in Sociology and minor in Psychology from University of West Georgia, and my M.Ed. in Education Administration from Grand Canyon University. I have been married to Ricky for over 32 years. We have 4 older girls who are grown, and one son who was born in 2011. All five of our children are adopted. I am a Stephen Minister Leader with Dallas FUMC. I love advising, traveling, the beach, shopping, swimming, NASCAR, golfing, and spending time with family.
