CHSS Undergraduate Advising Center

Who's my advisor?

If you are a freshman:

Freshman are advised by peer advisors through walk-in advising. Freshmen can stop by our office anytime 8:30am – 4:30pm Monday-Friday for advising.

If you are an online student:

We would be happy to advise you virtually through videochat. When you make an appointment online, please write in the “Notes” section that you are an online student requesting a virtual appointment. Then, call our office five minutes before your appointment so we can give you the link to the videochat and make sure you’re connected to your advisor.

Advising appointments via phone are also available to students without a webcam.

If you are on probation, academic dismissal, or re-admitting to KSU from academic dismissal:

We’d love to sit down with you, connect you to resources on campus, create a success plan for graduation, and let you know about academic policies that might impact you.

Because additional academic policies apply to you, make sure you schedule an advising appointment for at least one hour so you have the full amount of time required to review your academic standing.
